Terms & Conditions

By booking and staying at The Goodwill Homestay, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

Booking Agreement

Please review our terms carefully to ensure a transparent and enjoyable stay experience for everyone.

Acceptance of Terms

  • The following terms and conditions apply to all guests booking a stay at The Goodwill Homestay Shimla.
  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation.
  • A booking is considered confirmed once the advance payment is received and a confirmation email/message is sent.

Reservations & Check-in

  • Check-in time is 12:00 PM and Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • All guests are required to provide valid government-issued ID proofs (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.) at the time of check-in.

Payment Policy

  • A minimum advance payment of 50% is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full at the time of check-in or as agreed during reservation.
  • We accept payments via UPI, Online Transfer, and Cash.

Cancellation & Refund

  • Cancellations made more than 15 days prior to check-in: Full refund of the advance paid.
  • Cancellations made between 7 to 15 days prior to check-in: 50% refund of the advance paid.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to check-in: No refund of the advance paid.
  • No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.

Liability & Safety

  • The Goodwill Homestay is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.
  • Please ensure all valuables are kept securely at all times.

Guest Behavior

  • We maintain a peaceful and family-friendly environment. Disruptive behavior, excessive noise, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking and alcohol consumption are not permitted within the property premises as per our house rules.
  • We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund if a guest violates our behavior policies.

Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
  • We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
